Our process

Step by step

  1. Marking out the trampoline location

    Site visit & layout

We confirm the spot, measure gate access and mark the outline. We call Dig Line (811) to locate buried utilities before any digging.

  2. Mini excavator digging the trampoline pit

    Excavation

Our mini excavator digs the pit to the depth and shape your model needs, with a sloped center that helps air move under the mat.

  3. Completed in-ground trampoline hole with excavator

    Shape the pit

We hand-trim the walls and floor so the retaining wall fits tight and the frame sits level.

  4. Weed barrier fabric with gravel drainage bed

    Drainage (optional)

Weed barrier and gravel keep water moving away and stop weeds from growing up under the mat.

  5. Trampoline frame set into the finished hole

    Set the frame

The galvanized frame and retaining wall go in, get leveled, and are checked against the lawn line.

  6. Springs and jump mat being attached

    Springs & mat

We attach the springs and jump mat, then the safety pads.

  7. Clean job site after trampoline installation

    Backfill & clean-up

We backfill around the wall, grade the edges and clean the site. Haul-off is available if you don’t want the extra dirt.

  8. Finished double in-ground trampoline with basketball hoop

    Safety check & first jump

We test the springs and pads and walk you through care and winter tips. Then the kids get the first jump.

Before we dig

How to prep your yard

  • Gate width. Our mini excavator needs about a 4-foot opening. If your gate is narrower, we can remove a fence panel.
  • Sprinklers. Mark sprinkler heads and lines you know about so we can work around them.
  • Dirt plan. A 14′ round makes a lot of extra soil. Decide whether you want it hauled off, spread, or moved elsewhere.
  • Spot choice. Pick a level area away from trees, fences and hard edges, with room to walk around it.
